The seminars focus on the requirements of safe digging, due diligence and damage prevention. Guidelines are discussed regarding best practices when working on or around pipelines, high voltage lines, and fiber optic cables.

Some topics covered in the presentation include:

• Hand exposing underground facilities
• Existing Regulations
• Best practices for working around underground and overhead facilities

Many contractors use this presentation as a refresher for field staff prior to starting work for the season.

          These presentations can be incorporated into regular safety meetings.
